Summary
The macOS app (Bitcoin Mining Pool Monitor)
The app does not collect any personal data. It does not contain analytics or tracking SDKs. The only network activity is anonymous HTTPS requests to miningradar.com/api/dashboard to fetch public Bitcoin mining statistics every 60 seconds. No user identifiers are sent.
The app stores your preferences (selected pool, whether to show BTC price or hashprice in the menu-bar title, Launch at Login state) locally on your Mac using standard macOS user defaults. This data never leaves your device.
The website (miningradar.com)
The website serves public Bitcoin mining statistics. There are no user accounts, no sign-up, no cookies for tracking individuals.
We use Vercel Analytics to count anonymous page views and basic performance metrics. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies or collect personally identifiable information, and we do not combine it with any other data source.
Third-party services
- Vercel hosts the website and serves the public API. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request URL) are retained by Vercel for security and operational reasons.
- Supabase stores the public mining pool dataset shown on the site. No user data is stored.
- Pool hashrate, market price and difficulty data are derived from public sources including mempool.space and CoinGecko.
